I’d like you to know right upfront that I am a current Premium Plus+ member in Wealthy Affiliate. So, while I would be considered biased, I will do my best to approach this review in a balanced manner.

The Founders of Wealthy Affiliate

Wealthy Affiliate (wealthyaffiliate.com) was founded by Kyle & Carson back in 2005. They met in college in a computer science program. They had both created successful affiliate marketing business over a three year prior to partnering up to create Wealthy Affiliate. They both had a desire to help other people find success in online marketing, as they had. They both live in Victoria, BC.

Both Kyle and Carson are on the site all day, every day. The have built and continue to refine the community within Wealthy Affiliate. They not only want to help others become successful in their online business, but are there to answer your questions and get your feedback. They are all about helping and mentoring people, with their 20+ years of experience and education. That isn’t a normal practice in the online marketing space. Normally, with other online providers, you are working through a chat or email interface, with a support person. This makes Wealthy Affiliate unique.

The Integration of the HUB Interface and AI Tools In Wealthy Affiliate Is A Game-Changer!

In December, 2023, the founders of Wealthy Affiliate released their first version of their integrated “AI Content Writer” to their Premium Plus+ Members. This has been received by the members of Wealthy Affiliate as a “Game-Changer.”

The reason for the member’s enthusiasm for the new “HUB” quick start interface and the new “AI Content Writer” is because up until it’s release, creating a new website, buying the domain, setting up the website, setting up SEO optimization, researching keywords, creating new content, was an arduous and time-consuming task.

The New “HUBS” Interface Streamlines the Website Building Process

As part of the overhaul of Wealthy Affiliate’s system, they recently introduced the “HUBS” interface. As part of the “New Way” of building an online business through Wealthy Affiliate, it has streamlined many processes. As you’ll see in the diagram below, the new HUBS interface automates many of the tasks that were done manually, in the past.

Once a new member signs up into Wealthy Affiliate and sets up their account, they are directed to the “HUBS” interface. Here they go through a series of steps with the help of a “Wizard,” as follows:

1. Welcome to Wealthy Affiliate. An introduction to our company, and our ethos.

2. How Do You Want to Make Money. This is where you can choose your “Own Niche” or choose to “Promote Wealthy Affiliate”.

3. Choose Your Niche. This is where you choose your niche for your business, using the AI Niche Finder.

4. Pick a Brand. This is automatically generated based on the niche that you have chosen, and will help you quickly discover a brand (leveraging AI as well).

5. Build Your Website. This is where you finalize your URL, and build your website. You can go through this process in seconds if you want, or you can take a bit more time, but we don’t recommend taking any longer than 5-10 minutes.

The process not only saves time, but it also takes away the feeling of being overwhelmed, when starting on the journey of building their online business.

Wealthy Affiliate Has Received It’s Share of Criticism

Over the years. Wealthy Affiliate has been criticized by former members and competitors alike. The primary one being that it was too hard to maintain the consistency required to make it work. You see, Wealthy Affiliate’s system focuses on content creation, through website posts and articles, to rise up through the ranking algorithms of Google and the other search engines.

Thousands upon thousands of former members have come and gone over the years. The main reason for leaving was they just couldn’t keep up creating all of the content it would take to be successful.
